Sky Investment Fund acquired 50% of the family catering company Li-Bar Catering Yifrach, in a deal reflecting a company value of approximately NIS 350-400 million. The company, which generates annual revenue of about NIS 400 million and employs around 1,500 workers, started its journey 40 years ago as a small restaurant in Kiryat Gat that fed soldiers. Today it provides meals to companies such as Intel, Osem, Electra, Shufersal, and the Meir Group, as well as to government bodies including the Ministry of Defense, the IDF, the Israel Police, and the Israel Prison Service. The deal was brokered through the investment banking company Exodus, in which comedian Eli Yatzpan and Or Bismot are partners, and they are expected to earn up to 2% of the deal's value. The deal was signed in August and completed in early September, but was only published this week. After the deal, the family and Sky Fund each hold half of the company's shares, and day-to-day management remains with the family.
