Israel threatens new strikes on Iran

Edri stressed that public statements by Iranian leadership about destroying Israel are seen as a direct threat to national security. "Israel cannot and will not remain idle in the face of such a threat," he said. The official recalled that Israel has already taken necessary actions to ensure the state's survival and is prepared to repeat them. Additionally, Edri criticized the IAEA, expressing dissatisfaction that the issue of Israel's alleged nuclear program remains on the agency's agenda. In his view, this is politically motivated and distracts from more important matters, including Iran's compliance with its obligations.
