Israeli authorities have issued two tenders for the construction of 1,080 settlement units in the settlements of "Pisgat Ze'ev" and "Ma'ale Adumim" in occupied Jerusalem and its eastern surroundings, according to the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission on Monday. The commission stated that the first tender, published on October 7, includes 350 housing units designated for the elderly in the settlement of "Ma'ale Adumim", along with commercial and operational uses. The second tender, published on October 13, aims to establish 730 units in the "Dukhifat" complex, on the eastern edge of the "Pisgat Ze'ev" settlement, as part of a plan covering four plots of land with a total area of approximately 27.5 dunams. The commission noted that the first project was previously offered in a tender during the current year but ended without any bids, considering its reissuance as a remarketing of the same project. The announcement set December 30 as the deadline for submitting bids for the second tender.
