Is there a reason to attack? "We see delegations arriving in Iran and telling them 'woe betide'"

Former Navy Commander Eliezer Marom said in an interview that there is currently no reason to attack Iran, even after the US midterm elections. According to him, there is no compelling intelligence event, and clear objectives must be defined before any campaign.

In an interview with 103FM, former Navy Commander Eliezer Marom addressed the possibility of an Israeli strike on Iran. According to him, there is still no compelling event or significant intelligence incident justifying an attack, even after the US midterm elections. Marom noted that he saw delegations from several countries arriving in Iran this week, trying to promote negotiations while warning the Iranians. He emphasized that if a campaign against Iran is launched, clear objectives must be defined: targeting Iran's nuclear maintenance and ballistic missiles. However, he noted that currently no significant activity is seen in the Iranian nuclear program, and the Iranian industry is devastated. Marom added that there is no legitimacy in the US for such a campaign, and that President Trump could be stopped by Congress if he tries to undertake a military move.
