Investment in the North and Gaza Envelope - and KKL-JNF's Political Identification: "We Must Replace the Government"

KKL-JNF Chairman Ayal Ostinsky defends his public support for Gadi Eisenkot, justifying it by drawing a parallel to other politically identified state roles. In an interview with ynet studio, he describes an investment of nearly 4 billion shekels in rehabilitating the Gaza Envelope and the North since the war, and clarifies that in his opinion, "we must replace this government with another government of change and hope."

KKL-JNF Chairman Ayal Ostinsky is interviewed in the ynet studio and defends his public support for Gadi Eisenkot, chairman of the "Yashar!" party. Ostinsky argues that there is nothing wrong with his political identification, since the chairman of the Center for Local Government, Haim Bibas, and the chairman of the World Zionist Organization, Yaakov Haguel, are also politically identified. According to him, "the easiest thing is to stay quiet - but we must replace this government with another government of change and hope." In the interview, he describes KKL-JNF's activity since the war: an investment of nearly 4 billion shekels in rehabilitating the Gaza Envelope and the northern front line over the past three years. He details specific investments, including 75 million shekels in Nir Oz (100 million in total), the establishment of the Re'im parking lot to commemorate the 378 victims of the Nova massacre, and the Swords of Iron Forest to commemorate over 2,000 fallen soldiers. Ostinsky clarifies that he does not want a position in a future government but rather to remain chairman of KKL-JNF, which he describes as "an amazing and meaningful space for fulfillment."
