During the Patriots program on Channel 14, panelist Avi Shoshan spoke emotionally and called for strengthening the Military Rabbinate and the ZAKA organization. Shoshan, who himself served as a religious soldier in the Military Rabbinate and in a regional burial unit, shared his personal experience in handling bodies. He emphasized the dedication of thousands of reserve soldiers and organization workers who risked their lives in performing true acts of kindness for the fallen and murdered in the October 7 massacre. According to him, many of them are suffering from very severe mental conditions and find it difficult to express their pain due to their religious and moral level. Shoshan called for providing them with appropriate treatment and assistance, noting that "it's not enough, we need to help them."
