Hundreds of families in Hebron have been displaced by IDF operations following a terror attack on Friday that killed two Israeli soldiers. Riad Khamis, spokesperson for Hebron's official Support and Relief Committee, told The Jerusalem Post on Monday that 407 households, comprising 2,649 people, have been affected. The figure includes 1,109 minors, 218 elderly, 115 pregnant or postpartum women, 28 people with disabilities, and 162 with chronic illnesses. Khamis said families were given inadequate time to evacuate and have received no assurances about when they can return. 168 households have no safe accommodation, with some forced to sleep outdoors. Milena Ansari of Physicians for Human Rights Israel warned that disruption of care for the chronically ill could create emergencies. The IDF has not responded to a request for comment.
