Yemen's Houthis have begun implementing a strategy aimed at the complete isolation of Saudi Arabia. According to The Wall Street Journal, missile strikes on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh and several cities in the south of the kingdom threaten to disrupt business travel and tourism flows at the start of the busy conference season. The simultaneous escalation of conflicts involving the Houthis and Iran could hinder Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman's efforts to attract foreign investment. The Saudi-led coalition in Yemen is conducting a large-scale operation: according to a coalition spokesman, 136 military targets have been destroyed in areas controlled by the rebels. Saudi Arabia's General Authority of Civil Aviation reported the deaths of three people, including an airline pilot, as a result of the strike on the airport. Among the dead are also two citizens of the kingdom, and several people of various nationalities were wounded. Earlier, Yemeni government forces reported pushing the Houthis back from strategic positions near the Bab el-Mandeb Strait.
