A night in a hotel room in Florida turned into a nightmare for a married couple. While they were fast asleep, a stranger was hiding under their bed. The woman discovered him in the morning when she looked under the bed to check if she had left any belongings there. The incident occurred at a hotel in the city of Doral near Miami. Ritschel Calvaire, 25, of North Miami, unlawfully entered the room through the balcony, climbed over the railing, and silently opened the door while the couple slept. He hid under the bed for several hours. The couple called security, who called the police. Calvaire was arrested at the scene. He was charged with unlawful entry into a residence and resisting a police officer during arrest. After the arrest, it turned out that Calvaire was well acquainted with the hotel layout: he had stayed there twice, and on August 31 he was ejected with instructions not to return. The suspect refused to answer investigators' questions without a lawyer present.
