Israel Fire and Rescue Services have issued a severe warning against floods in the large streams of the southern Negev and Arava in the coming days. The warning follows the Meteorological Service's forecast, which predicts significant rains starting from Tuesday afternoon in the Israel-Egypt border area, spreading to the southern Negev, Arava, and the Dead Sea. There is concern for floods in the Paran, Hiyon, Nekarot, and Tzin streams, and for flooding on highways 90 and 40. Rescue forces are preparing for road closures and rescues. Fire and Rescue Services warn: 'Do not cross a flooded road, neither on foot nor by vehicle. This is a real life-threatening danger!'
