The head of the Palestinian Scholars Association, Dr. Naseem Yassin, called on the leaders of Arab and Islamic states to take serious action to stop what he described as the war of extermination and the siege imposed on the Gaza Strip, and to confront the escalating crimes of Judaization and settlement in Jerusalem and the occupied West Bank. Yassin warned of the escalation of settler attacks under the protection of occupation forces, which include burning property, seizing land and establishing new settlement outposts, in parallel with the accelerating Judaization measures in Jerusalem and repeated attacks on Al-Aqsa Mosque. He stressed that Palestine and its holy sites can no longer bear being satisfied with statements of condemnation and decisions that remain locked in drawers, emphasizing the need to overcome differences and narrow interests and to unify positions. He called for the opening of relief crossings and the intensification of political and relief pressure to stop the aggression and protect civilians. He stressed that history and future generations will hold leaders accountable for their positions.
