Guy Maroz defended Ahmad Tibi – and then began to squirm live on air

Guy Maroz, host of 'The Patriots' on Channel 14, defended MKs Ahmad Tibi and Mansour Abbas live on air, arguing they do not support the murder of Jews. Panelists, including Yinon Magal, pressed him to provide an instance where Tibi explicitly condemned Hamas, and Maroz struggled to answer, saying 'let me check that for you.' The article describes the confrontation but does not include responses from Tibi or Abbas.

Guy Maroz, the host of 'The Patriots' program on Channel 14, found himself in a live on-air confrontation after coming to the defense of MKs Ahmad Tibi and Mansour Abbas. Maroz argued that the two do not support the murder of Jews, against the backdrop of Tibi's refusal to define Hamas as a terrorist organization. The debate began when Maroz compared the repeated demand for Arab MKs to condemn Hamas to a question repeatedly asked of a Jew about their very Jewishness. The panelists, including Yinon Magal, were not convinced and demanded he present a single instance where Tibi explicitly condemned Hamas. Maroz struggled to answer and replied 'let me check that for you.' The article describes the confrontation but does not include the responses of Tibi or Abbas.
