The Delek Israel gas station chain has launched a large-scale giveaway in honor of its 75th anniversary. 30 winners will receive fuel cards for 600 liters of 95-grade gasoline each, which at the current price of 8.27 shekels per liter amounts to almost 5000 shekels per person. The card can be used for half a year, providing approximately 100 liters per month. The promotion started on October 8 and will run until November 6, with one winner determined daily. To participate, one must be a member of the Joe Delek loyalty club and make a purchase: refuel the car with at least 30 liters or buy goods in the chain's stores worth from 39 shekels. Delek Israel Deputy CEO Keren Kupermintz explained that the company decided to hold the promotion during a period when the rising cost of living and transportation expenses are especially noticeable for Israeli families. The advertising campaign includes recreating historical gas stations from different decades, starting from the 1950s.
