He claimed that the government took 300 million shekels of state funds to delay the fuel price increase until the end of October, with the aim of blinding the public and preventing it from seeing the real price increase. According to him, even if they do a "trick or gimmick," the price will eventually rise. Meridor harshly criticized the government, which he called a "rogue government," for not addressing the cost of living in other areas such as housing, supermarkets, and pharmacies. He noted that the role of a government is to ensure that life becomes cheaper. Later, Meridor explained the economic plan of the Yashar! party for young people, which includes benefits for reservists, handling daycare, and long-term rentals. He emphasized that the party is the only one specifically addressing young people. Meridor also referred to the warnings Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu received before October 7, claiming that Netanyahu knew about the transfer of funds to Hamas and continued to allow it despite requests from heads of organizations to prevent it. According to him, responsibility for the events of October 7 lies with Netanyahu.
