For the fourth time: 22-year-old arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs

A 22-year-old resident of Yafia was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs, for the fourth time. He has over 30 previous traffic offenses and a suspended prison sentence. The arrest was carried out in an enforcement operation in Nazareth, during which over 40 citations were issued and three vehicles were impounded.

A 22-year-old resident of Yafia was arrested last night (Monday) in Nazareth on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs. According to the police, this is the fourth time he has been caught on suspicion of this offense. He has more than 30 previous traffic offenses, and a suspended prison sentence of two months is pending against him. The young man was arrested during an enforcement operation conducted by officers of the Nazareth police station and Border Police fighters in the north. At the end of his investigation, he was imprisoned, and a hearing was held to impound his vehicle. This morning he will be brought before the Traffic Magistrate's Court in Nazareth. During the operation, more than 40 traffic citations were issued. Three vehicles were impounded for 30 days and drivers' licenses were revoked, among other reasons for driving without a license, driving under the influence of drugs, and refusing a drug test. In addition, ten two-wheeled vehicles were taken off the road and 14 citations were given to bicycle and motorcycle riders.
