Fighters in the north documented riding a bus branded with the "Yashar" party

Fighters in the north were documented riding a bus branded with the image of Gadi Eisenkot, chairman of the "Yashar" party, in violation of directives prohibiting the transport of soldiers in political vehicles. The IDF defined the incident as a "point failure" and demanded that the Defense Ministry summon the transportation company manager to an inquiry committee.

Fighters on the northern border, returning from an operational mission, were documented on Wednesday afternoon boarding a bus branded with the image of Gadi Eisenkot, chairman of the "Yashar" party, in serious violation of directives prohibiting the transport of soldiers in vehicles carrying political advertising. The IDF defined the incident as a "point failure" of an external transportation company and demanded that the Defense Ministry summon the company manager to an inquiry committee. Following the documentation, the head of the Technology and Logistics Division instructed in an internal situation assessment not to board soldiers on politically branded vehicles and to provide an immediate alternative. The directive to commanders on the matter was distributed back in August following similar incidents.
