Father of Shani Louk and Ethiopian-Israeli community leaders announce support for Vinter

Nissim Louk, father of the late Shani Louk, and Dr. Alali Admasu, chairman of the Ethiopian-Israeli community headquarters, announced their support for the 'Amcha Yisrael' party led by Ofer Vinter. Louk withdrew from the race and transferred his support to Vinter, while Admasu announced his backing after understandings were reached on community issues.

Nissim Louk, father of the late Shani Louk, and Dr. Alali Admasu, chairman of the Ethiopian-Israeli community headquarters, announced their support for the 'Amcha Yisrael' party led by retired Brigadier General Ofer Vinter. Louk, who headed the 'Orot HaShachar' list, withdrew from the race and transferred his full support to Vinter, stating that "only one leader in the country is capable of carrying out a complete emigration from Gaza – Ofer Vinter." Admasu, a former Israeli ambassador to Ethiopia, announced his support after understandings were reached on issues concerning the Ethiopian-Israeli community, including family reunification, equal opportunity, and the fight against racism. Admasu was active at the beginning of the election campaign within Naftali Bennett's 'Beyachad' party.
