The footage shows Saleh Othman, a 60-year-old resident of East Jerusalem, using the victim's credit card to withdraw cash. According to the suspicion, the motive for the murder is a financial debt of tens of thousands of shekels between the two, who knew each other previously. Othman turned himself in to police after a five-day search for Rajabi. During his interrogation, he confessed to the acts and even reenacted the murder, while claiming he was drunk at the time. Additional footage shows Rajabi getting into Othman's vehicle, which he used as a technician, helping investigators identify him. His detention was extended.
