Two Hamas terrorists were eliminated in the southern Gaza Strip after attempting to steal drills used for locating tunnels from combat engineering forces. The two were identified by the forces and eliminated with the drills in hand, using precision munitions dropped from an aircraft. Meanwhile, the IDF and Shin Bet destroyed three Hamas weapons warehouses across the Strip in recent days, containing RPGs, launchers, rockets, and firearms. The IDF stated that prior to the strikes, advance warnings were issued to the population and precision munitions were used to minimize civilian harm. The headline uses dramatic phrasing ('the treasure of combat engineering') that does not match the event description in the article body.
