Elderly man shot 13 times in his home and dies, suspicion: revenge against his grandson | Footage from the scene

An 82-year-old man was shot 13 times in his home in Shefa-Amr and died. The suspicion: the murder was carried out as revenge against his grandson, who was arrested yesterday along with two other suspects on their way to carry out a hit on behalf of the Hariri family. The elderly man's son was lightly injured. His wife found him covered in his blood.

Ibrahim Bushkar, an 82-year-old man, was murdered today (Friday) in his home in Shefa-Amr, after masked individuals broke into the place and fired 13 bullets at him. His son, who was beside him, was also hit by the gunfire, and as he tried to flee, the gunmen continued shooting at him—but he managed to hide from them in the bathroom and lock the door. His condition is defined as light. The victim's wife was in another room during the shooting, and when she returned to the scene, she found him covered in his blood. According to the suspicion, the murder was carried out as revenge against the elderly man's grandson—the son of the injured man—who was arrested yesterday along with two other suspects on their way to carry out a hit on behalf of the Hariri family. Apparently, the target of the hit was connected to the masked individuals—who learned of the plan and murdered Bushkar in response. The murder was carried out by two gunmen, accompanied by a third suspect who waited for them in a vehicle. The police stated that yesterday a hit by an assassination squad of the Hariri crime family was foiled, with one of them being the elderly man's grandson. Since the beginning of the year, 182 people have been murdered in Arab society.
