Eisenkot said "without Ra'am" – Golan enables: "Natural, correct, and proper"

Gadi Eisenkot declared that Ra'am will not be in the government he will form, but his bloc partner Yair Golan said in an interview that Mansour Abbas could be in the next government, and that it is "natural, correct, and proper." Likud attacked and claimed that Golan is revealing the true plan of the left-wing bloc.

Gadi Eisenkot, chairman of the Yashar party, unequivocally stated last night that Ra'am will not be part of the government he will form. Less than a day later, his left-wing bloc partner Yair Golan, chairman of the Democrats, presented an opposing position in a morning interview. Golan said that Mansour Abbas, chairman of Ra'am, "could be in the next government," and that it is "something completely natural, correct, and proper." These remarks reveal an internal contradiction in the left-wing bloc ahead of the elections. Even in Ra'am, they did not buy Eisenkot's promise: Yoav Segalovich, placed second on the party's list, stated that "Eisenkot will not have a government without Ra'am." Likud attacked following Golan's remarks and said that "Yair Golan is revealing the plan after the left-wing bloc meeting," adding that Eisenkot will form "a left-wing government with Yair Golan, Lieberman, Bennett, and the Arab parties."
