A hacking group named 'Everest' claims to have breached Flydubai's catering company and obtained a vast data repository. According to a report on the Emirati site Hackrisk.io, the information includes 16,517 files totaling 4.36 GB, containing flight operational records, crew training materials, personnel data exports, manufacturer technical publications, electronic flight reference kits, and Boeing engineering software. The operational material covers Boeing 737NG systems, pre-flight checks, ETOPS procedures for long-haul flights, aircraft performance, loading, winter operations, low-visibility procedures, navigation, electronic flight bags, and weather radar. The breach occurs amid an investigation into last week's attempted attack on Flydubai. In July, the same hacking group breached the website of Fly Emirates, a partner of Flydubai, and leaked thousands of files and confidential information.
