Documentation of atrocities alongside songs: the disgusting celebrations in the Arab world on the anniversary of October 7
Hadar Tavashi brings documentation of the disgusting celebrations in the Arab world on the anniversary of the October 7 massacre. In Gaza and on social media, the date was celebrated as a glorious victory, alongside songs, victory speeches by senior Hamas officials, and documentation of protests. Palestinian content creators exploited the day to praise Hamas. On the other hand, some Gaza residents see the day of the massacre as a day that brought disaster upon them.
Hadar Tavashi brings documentation of the disgusting celebrations in the Arab world on the anniversary of the October 7 massacre. In Gaza and on social media, the date was celebrated as a glorious victory, alongside horrific documentation of the massacre, songs published on channels supporting Hamas, victory speeches by senior terrorist organization officials, and outrageous documentation of protests in Arab countries that took place at the beginning of the war. Many Palestinian content creators cynically exploited the anniversary to openly praise Hamas for the acts of massacre. One of the official posters distributed by Hamas was titled "Al-Obour Al-Moqaddas" - "The Sacred Crossing," a propaganda term coined by the terrorist organization to describe the border breach and the murderous terrorist attack. The term is borrowed from Egypt, where they mark "October 6 Holiday," 53 years after the "Crossing of the Suez Canal." In Gaza, they chose to hang Egyptian flags as a sign of solidarity. On the other hand, a significant portion of Gaza residents see the day of the massacre as a day that brought disaster upon Gaza, leading to attacks and destruction in the Strip becoming their daily routine. The documentation provides a painful reminder that the date, which for us marks a memorial day for the greatest disaster in the state's history, serves for the Arab world as motivation to harm Israel.
