Disturbing testimonies: "They delay yeshiva students, make it easier for left-wing voters"
Unusual field testimonies raise suspicions of biased conduct at polling stations in central Israel: a polling station secretary reported that key positions were manned by left-wing activists, who allegedly allowed illegal voting and deliberately delayed yeshiva students. A voter in Tel Aviv testified that a supervisor only checked ballots of left-wing parties.
A report on Channel 14 brings unusual field testimonies that raise suspicions of biased conduct at polling stations in central Israel. An anonymous polling station secretary reported that key positions were manned by left-wing activists affiliated with the Kaplan protests, who he claims allowed voting in violation of the law and deliberately delayed yeshiva students so they would give up and leave. According to him, his attempts to alert authorities were met with silencing and backing from senior officials. Meanwhile, a voter in Tel Aviv testified that a supervisor at the 'Gabrieli' school polling station only checked ballots of the left-wing parties 'Yashar!' and 'The Democrats', and ignored right-wing ballots. A request to the Central Elections Committee has yet to receive a response.
