Cyclist grabbed a tourist's buttocks while she was running - and she gave chase

A 33-year-old British tourist was out for a morning run in Sydney when a cyclist touched her buttocks without consent. She chased after him, filmed him, and posted the video online. The clip went viral, the suspect was arrested a day later and charged with three offenses.

Jenna Dolard, a 33-year-old British tourist from Kendal in northern England, went for a morning run on Bondi Street in Sydney on Thursday, October 29, 2026, at around 5:30 AM. During the run, a man on a bicycle approached her from behind and touched her buttocks without her consent. Instead of staying put, Dolard pulled out her phone, tried to pull him off the bike, and chased after him while filming. She uploaded the video to Instagram hoping to identify the man. The video went viral, leading to the arrest of a 51-year-old man on Friday, October 30, at a property in Tempe, Sydney. The suspect was charged with three offenses: sexual touching without consent, entering enclosed land, and obstructing a police officer. He was denied bail and brought to court on October 31. Dolard said the experience damaged her sense of safety, and she plans to train at a gym instead of running outside.
