A cyclist about 30 years old was killed today (Tuesday) after being hit by a truck at the Zichron Yaakov junction. Medics and paramedics of Magen David Adom who were called to the scene found him on the side of the road unconscious, without a pulse and without breathing, suffering from multi-system injuries. They performed CPR on him, but after the efforts his death was pronounced at the scene. The circumstances of the incident were not provided in the official statement. Emergency medic at MDA, Yosef Friedman, described the incident: "The cyclist was lying on the side of the road unconscious without a pulse and breathing, we performed CPR on him but his injury was critical and we were forced to pronounce his death at the scene."
