Channel 14 won the lawsuit and will donate the money to the legal battle of Force 100

Judge Noam Solberg rejected the petition by left-wing organizations led by Zehava Galon against Channel 14, accepted the channel's position, and ordered the petitioners to pay costs of NIS 10,000. Channel 14 announced that the money will be donated to the legal battle of Force 100 fighters.

Deputy Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, Judge Noam Solberg, today (Friday) summarily dismissed the petition by left-wing organizations, led by former Meretz chairwoman Zehava Galon, against Channel 14. The petition, filed by the organizations 'Zulat for Equality and Human Rights' and 'The Movement for Fair Regulation', claimed that the channel allegedly violates election propaganda laws by primarily hosting candidates from right-wing parties. The petitioners requested an injunction prohibiting the channel from hosting candidates for the 26th Knesset until election day. Judge Solberg accepted the channel's position, which presented evidence of invitations to representatives from all parties, and ruled that the demand to prevent broadcasts is an "extreme step" that harms freedom of speech. The judge ordered the petitioners to pay legal costs of NIS 10,000, to be divided between the channel and the Second Authority. Channel 14 announced that the money received will be donated to the legal battle of 'Force 100' fighters.
