The court extended by five days the detention of three residents of the Bedouin diaspora suspected of election bribery. Judge Amar Cohen ruled that there is reasonable suspicion that the suspects committed offenses of conduct contrary to election procedures, after searches of their homes and vehicles yielded cash, envelopes with Arabic inscriptions, green shirts and flags, and voting slips of the Ra'am party. The defense attorney for one of the suspects, Adv. Avishai, argued that his detention is "an advance on a future punishment" and that he could be released to alternative detention conditions. The judge noted that the danger ground is limited, but there is a clear obstruction of proceedings ground. The detention was extended until November 1, 2026.
