Burger King expands its activity in Israel with six new branches

Burger King Israel is advancing the opening of six new branches in Or Yehuda, Kiryat Haim, Rosh HaAyin, Netanya, Sde Boker, and Ramla, with an investment of millions of shekels per branch. CEO Dana Tuchner set a target of more than 100 branches within five years.

Burger King Israel, controlled by Delek Israel (approximately 93%), is advancing the opening of six new branches across the country with an investment of millions of shekels per branch. The move, led by CEO Dana Tuchner, focuses on neighborhood commercial centers and developing residential areas. The branches will open in Or Yehuda (Zim Center), Kiryat Haim, Rosh HaAyin, Netanya (Amiti Commercial Center), Sde Boker, and Ramla, covering 130-160 square meters with 20-60 seats. Tuchner set a target of more than 100 branches within five years, with 7-10 additional openings planned for 2027. The investment in establishing a branch is about 2 million shekels. The chain, returning to Israel for the third time, restarted its operations in early 2022 after receiving the franchise from Delek Israel. The expansion occurs against the backdrop of difficulties in the fast-food market, as evidenced by the request of the KFC franchisee in Israel for the appointment of a temporary trustee due to debts of about 50 million shekels.
