Bituah Leumi benefits in October — new payment dates published

The National Insurance Institute of Israel has published the schedule of benefit payments for October 2026. After changes in September due to holidays, payments return to the regular schedule. The first payment — unemployment and income support benefits — on October 12. Child benefits on October 20. Main long-term benefits on October 28. October 15 is the deadline for reporting and paying contributions.

The National Insurance Institute of Israel (Bituah Leumi) has published an updated schedule of benefit payments for October 2026. After numerous changes in September caused by the holiday period, payments in October return to the regular schedule. First, on Monday, October 12, citizens entitled to unemployment benefits and income support benefits will receive payments. On Tuesday, October 20, child benefits will be paid; the basic amount for the first child is about 169 shekels. The main date of the month is Wednesday, October 28, for recipients of long-term benefits: general disability, elderly citizens, loss of breadwinner, nursing care, and disabled child. The full disability benefit for a single person is 4,711 shekels, the basic old-age benefit is 1,838 shekels (up to 2,757 with a seniority supplement). In addition, October 15 is the deadline for mandatory reporting and payment of contributions for employers, self-employed, and non-working individuals, including a quarterly payment for the latter.
