Bennett and Eisenkot together, hostages danced at the Nova compound: the footage from the hakafot

On the first Shabbat since the massacre in which Simchat Torah is celebrated, masses went out for second hakafot across the country. For the first time without Israeli hostages in Gaza, celebrations were held at the Hostages Square in Tel Aviv. At the Nova compound, former hostages Bar Kupershtein and Avitar David, who were kidnapped from the party, arrived. Politicians Naftali Bennett and Gadi Eisenkot came to the hakafot at the Orot Shaul hesder yeshiva.

Amid the memorial events for the October 7 massacre and on the first Shabbat since the massacre in which the holiday of Simchat Torah is observed, masses went out for second hakafot across the country. For the first time since the start of the war, with no Israeli hostages in the Gaza Strip, celebrations were held at the Hostages Square in Tel Aviv. At the memorial compound for the Nova party in Re'im, against the backdrop of a public controversy over holding celebrations at the site, former hostages Bar Kupershtein and Avitar David, who were kidnapped from the party on that black Shabbat, arrived and were lifted onto shoulders. About three weeks before the elections, politicians Naftali Bennett (chairman of Beyachad) and Gadi Eisenkot (chairman of Yashar) came to the hakafot at the Orot Shaul hesder yeshiva, where they held the hakafot together with the head of the yeshiva, Rabbi Tamir Granot, who lost his son Captain Amitai (Tzvi) Granot during the war.
