Ben Gvir on podcast "Convince Me!": "Netanyahu is stalling the emigration from Gaza"
National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir appeared on the i24NEWS podcast "Convince Me!", accused Prime Minister Netanyahu of foot-dragging on the issue of Palestinian emigration from Gaza, and called him a "procrastinator." Ben Gvir pointed a finger at the security establishment, claiming that the Chief of Staff, the Shin Bet director, and the head of Military Intelligence are the most influential on Netanyahu.
National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir appeared on the i24NEWS podcast "Convince Me!" with host Eliraz Shada. During the interview, Ben Gvir was asked whether Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is a "procrastinator" and answered in the affirmative, noting that alongside achievements, Netanyahu postpones decisions time and again. However, Ben Gvir emphasized that since the events of October 7, the Prime Minister has changed "truly." The central issue raised was the matter of Palestinian emigration from the Gaza Strip. Ben Gvir claimed that Netanyahu is delaying moves on the issue, even though certain countries have already agreed to absorb Palestinians for payment. "He is stalling it," the minister said, adding that Netanyahu has "other considerations, other advisors, and various other systems." Later, Ben Gvir criticized the thinking of decision-makers, who he claims try to be "over-smart" and think too much instead of acting. When asked who sets this thinking, he pointed a finger at the security establishment: the Chief of Staff, the Shin Bet director, and the head of Military Intelligence. "They came to him, and they are the ones who supposedly set the tone," he said.
