As revealed in Maariv: Netanyahu's Haredi partner who may cross the lines

Political sources estimate that Agudat Yisrael, led by Yitzhak Goldknopf, may provide external support to a government without Netanyahu in exchange for budgetary agreements. This possibility was reported in Maariv as early as August amid the conscription crisis. However, Goldknopf risks losing supporters to Likud if he signals willingness to back the change bloc.

About a day before the elections, political sources estimate that Agudat Yisrael, led by Yitzhak Goldknopf, may provide external support to a government not headed by Benjamin Netanyahu. This support, which amounts to three seats, could be facilitated in exchange for budgetary agreements, but it may not necessarily eliminate the need for the votes of the Arab parties. The possibility of cooperation between Agudat Yisrael and the change bloc is not new; as early as August, Maariv reported that Agudat Yisrael had explored cooperation with Gadi Eisenkot, against the backdrop of tensions within United Torah Judaism over the conscription issue. However, Goldknopf faces a political problem: his voter base identifies with the right, and any signal of willingness to support a government led by the change bloc could lead to supporters defecting to Likud or Otzma Yehudit. Alongside this scenario, the possibility that Naftali Bennett or Avigdor Lieberman might change their support base is also mentioned. As of now, these are only assessments.
