Arrests, raids, and settler attacks in the West Bank
Israeli occupation forces and settlers carried out a series of incursions and assaults in the West Bank at dawn on Friday, including arrests of citizens, house raids and searches, attacks on homes, and vehicle smashing. The incursions focused on Nablus, Hebron, Ramallah, and Tulkarm, where three citizens were arrested from Burqa village and another from Hebron, and settlers attacked homes in Iraq Burin and Burqa.
Israeli occupation forces and settlers carried out a series of incursions and assaults in various areas of the occupied West Bank at dawn on Friday, October 2, 2026. The operations included arrests of citizens, house raids and searches, tampering with contents, as well as attacking homes, smashing vehicles, and detaining citizens. In Nablus Governorate, occupation forces arrested three citizens from Burqa village: Muhammad Bassam Salah, Laith Muhammad al-Marwan Abu Omar, and Muhammad Bahaa Abdul Majid Dughlas. They also raided homes in the northern mountain area and detained citizen Marwan Bulaibla. In Beit Furik village, they confiscated a camera drone. South of Nablus, settlers attacked the home of citizen Jihad Abu Sharkh and smashed his vehicle. In Hebron, occupation forces arrested citizen Muhammad Amin al-Zughair, and raided homes in Tarqumiya and the village of al-Tabaqa, deliberately destroying their contents. They also stormed Ramallah city and the village of Beit Ur al-Tahta without arrests. East of Ramallah, dozens of settlers, under the protection of occupation forces, attacked citizens' homes in Burqa village. In Tulkarm, occupation forces stormed a café in the eastern neighborhood, detained young men inside, checked their IDs, and directed laser beams at citizens in an attempt to spread fear and intimidation. These events come amid the ongoing aggression against Tulkarm city and the Tulkarm and Nur Shams refugee camps.
