Meanwhile, female heads of local authorities met in pink shirts to promote early detection screenings, as according to the Cancer Association, about 5,870 women are expected to be diagnosed this year.

Waze Israel is launching a campaign to raise awareness of breast cancer during October, in partnership with the "One in Nine" association and Israeli municipalities. The campaign will integrate voice messages in the app narrated by Adi Ashkenazi, aimed at encouraging women to get tested. Additionally, a pink virtual Mini Cooper with a pink ribbon on its roof will appear, which users can select as a navigation icon. Meanwhile, female heads of local authorities gathered in pink shirts and discussed collaborations to increase awareness of women's health. Dalritsa, one of the municipal leaders, noted that they are leveraging their key positions to promote the issue. According to the Cancer Association's estimate, about 5,870 women are expected to be diagnosed with breast cancer in Israel in 2026, and early detection raises the cure rate to about 90%. In the United States, thousands of medical centers have been mapped, and in Israel about 400 clinics and mammography centers. The campaign aims to turn the daily commute into a symbol of solidarity and support.
