Spanish flamenco dancer Maria Juncal, the sixth generation of the Borrull family of flamenco artists, will perform a one-night show in Tel Aviv on November 4, 2026, at the Arison Center. The performance, titled 'Una mirada (A Different Perspective),' marks her return to Israel after performing last year during the war with Iran. Juncal, who studied at the Amor de Dios academy in Madrid and now runs a tablao flamenco in Mexico City, will be joined by four local musicians: guitarist Piti de Triana, singers Yael Horwitz and Miriam Levy, and percussionist Itay Asterchan. In an interview, Juncal spoke about the joy of returning to Israel and her view that perceptions of the conflict in Spain are often clouded by a lack of firsthand understanding. The show is produced by Silvia Baro Productions and the Suzanne Dellal Center.
