The Gaza Center for Human Rights documents the martyrdom of 1,481 citizens in Gaza during a year since the announcement of a ceasefire, including 324 children and 164 women, at a rate exceeding four martyrs per day. The report confirms the continuation of killing and violations despite the agreement, recording 314 days of killing out of 365 days, with no decline in the pace between the first and second halves of the year.
The Gaza Center for Human Rights documented the martyrdom of 1,481 citizens in the Gaza Strip during a full year since the announcement of the "ceasefire," spanning from October 10, 2025, to October 9, 2026. Among the victims were 324 children, 164 women, and 51 elderly, with women and children constituting about a third of the total martyrs. Killings were recorded on 314 out of 365 days, at a weekly average of about 28 martyrs and a monthly average of 123 martyrs. The targeting pace saw no significant decline, with 743 killings in the first six months compared to 738 in the following six months. 83.8% of the victims died from airstrikes, and 237 Palestinians were killed by direct fire near the "Yellow Line," which cuts off about 70% of the Strip's area. The report confirms that merely announcing a ceasefire does not mean the end of the genocide crime and calls on the international community to take immediate action and open independent investigations.
