942 days without answers: The demand to transfer the Haymanot investigation to the Shin Bet

942 days after the disappearance of the girl Haymanot Kasau, the demand to transfer the investigation of her disappearance to the full responsibility of the Shin Bet has resurfaced. Chairman of Yisrael Beiteinu, MK Avigdor Lieberman, appealed to Shin Bet head David Zini, demanding that the organization's full intelligence, operational, and technological capabilities be placed at the disposal of the investigation, and that all investigation materials be re-examined. Lieberman clarified that as time passes, the possibility of locating new evidence diminishes, and therefore different thinking and deepening of intelligence activity are required. The demand comes after President Herzog announced Shin Bet involvement in the investigation, which turned out to be limited. Lieberman stated that the disappearance of a nine-year-old girl is an event that the State of Israel must not come to terms with.
