The Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission recorded 14 incidents of assault on farmers, their lands and their crops on Monday between six in the morning and six in the evening. The tally included 10 incidents carried out by settlers, 3 carried out by the occupation army, and one joint incident. The attacks ranged from assaulting olive pickers and forcing them to leave their lands, detaining them, stealing the harvest and agricultural equipment, vandalising property and uprooting trees. The attacks were concentrated in the Ramallah and al-Bireh governorate, which witnessed 8 incidents; in the al-Shawneh area of Bittir Mis'aya, the occupation army prevented farmers from reaching their lands and a young man was injured in an assault by settlers. In Salfit, the commission documented 3 incidents that included forcing farmers to leave and stealing olive fruit. In Nablus, the occupation army uprooted more than 200 productive olive trees. In Hebron, settlers attacked members of the al-Na'amin family. The commission indicated that these incidents reveal the multiplicity of means used to target the olive season.
