US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent warned last week that sanctions may be considered if Chinese labs 'cross the line into intellectual property theft'. The remarks follow the US government's announcement on Tuesday of a ban on importing humanoid robots and four-legged robots from foreign manufacturers, claiming they pose 'unacceptable risks' to national security.
