Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that Ukraine is holding talks with Israel on purchasing air defense systems. He stated this at a joint press conference with Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić. Zelensky noted that Ukraine is ready to officially purchase the systems, but currently there is no such opportunity, although contacts between the sides continue. "We would also like to receive air defense from them. We would be ready to buy. We don't have that opportunity yet, although we are in dialogue," the article quotes him as saying. Kyiv continues to seek ways to strengthen the protection of its skies, but negotiations with Israel have not yet yielded the desired results. Earlier, Kursor reported that Vučić announced the opening of a defense enterprise for drone production with Israeli participation. The plant is expected to start operating in mid-September, approximately from September 15 to 20. Vučić highly praised Ukrainian developments in the drone field and plans to invite a Ukrainian delegation to the opening.
