On July 25, the mother called the police, reporting an attack; the son was arrested after returning home. The investigator noted that the mother described several serious episodes, including a strong pull on her arm and punches. More than a year ago, the youth had already been charged with assaulting his mother, when he caused her a head injury due to refusal to give money. The prosecution requests that he remain in custody until the end of the proceedings. The defense attorney states that the young man has special needs and requires treatment and rehabilitation, not punishment.
