"You've joined the incitement against an entire camp": Yizhar Shai against Tali Gvili
Yizhar Shai, a bereaved father, attacks Tali Gvili, a bereaved mother who was reserved a spot in the Likud party, over her statements against "the other camp." Shai accuses her of joining the incitement of Prime Minister Netanyahu, and emphasizes that the heroes fell defending the homeland, not a political camp.
Yizhar Shai, the father of a fallen soldier in the Swords of Iron war, published a harsh post against Tali Gvili, the mother of the late Rani Gvili, who was reserved the 11th spot on the Likud list for the Knesset. Shai attacked Gvili following her statements in her debut interview, in which she said that "if the other camp wins, everything we have achieved so far will fall." Shai wrote that the heroes fell defending the homeland, not a political camp, and accused Gvili of joining the incitement of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who he said has turned division into a political tool. Shai emphasized that he feels her pain, but that shared bereavement gives him the right to criticize. He called on Gvili to preserve her son's memory out of love and unity, not out of hatred and incitement.
