Matanya, the close friend of the late Binyahu Razi, who was stabbed to death in an Airbnb apartment in the Nahlaot neighborhood of Jerusalem in July 2026, gave an exclusive interview to the main edition. He recounted the violent incident, which he said lasted about ten minutes and came as a complete surprise. Matanya said that rescue forces arrived while Razi was still alive, and that he himself was arrested as a suspect in the first hours and learned of his friend's death by chance from a conversation between policewomen. According to him, Agam Tzarfati, Razi's ex-girlfriend who is accused of planning the murder, continues to harass him with blocked calls from prison, and the police have not acted to stop them. He strongly rejected the claims of the defendants' lawyers about violence by the boys, and clarified that he would not be able to hit a woman. Binyahu's mother, Dekla Razi, said that Matanya has become like a family member and that he is "torn and shattered" after seeing his friend die in his arms. The family called on teenagers to turn to adults in distress.
