Yotam Zemer sharply attacks: "Criminal media"

Panelist Yotam Zemer sharply attacked the Israeli media, especially Kan 11, for opposing the current agreement. He claimed that the media had previously pushed for a deal "at any cost" with Hamas that was 100 times worse, and praised the government for standing firm on security principles and bringing a good deal to Israel.

During the program "The Patriots" on Channel 14, panelist Yotam Zemer launched a sharp attack against the Israeli media, calling it "criminal media." He referred to a report broadcast on Kan 11 about an agreement that he says is "a terrible agreement," in which residents were interviewed expressing concern about the withdrawal of our forces and abandonment. Zemer criticized the media's position, claiming it is hypocritical. "You at Kan 11, where were you? You spent time brainwashing us about a deal at any cost," he said. He emphasized that the deal previously pushed with Hamas "was 100 times worse than this," and that it would lead to a situation where "we would have to leave, give up everything, be subservient to Hamas, we would have no bargaining chips, nothing." The panelist praised the government for its firm stance, saying: "Thank God the government stood its ground and brought a deal only on terms that are good for Israel's security." He added that otherwise, "we would be today in a situation like Eisenkot wanted, and that is terrible," thus emphasizing the importance of insisting on security conditions against media pressures.
