Years of Neglect: New Coalition to Save the Education System

The coalition includes local government heads, academics, education staff, parents, and students. Rami Hod, CEO of the Ideological Center at the Berl Katznelson Foundation and one of the coalition's initiators, said that 'the last government brought years of neglect of state education to a peak, and deepened its severe discrimination against state-religious and Haredi education.' Rotem Yadlin, head of the Gezer Regional Council, called on the parties to show genuine and proven commitment, including a budgetary plan to reduce gaps and long-term investment.
