According to him, the union was intended to remove concerns among potential voters about failing to pass the electoral threshold. Zelicha claimed that in an internal poll the party stands at five seats, but in-depth polls identified a potential for seven seats, which they now attribute to the union. He emphasized that this is a "technical bloc" but with a deep ideological connection between him and Hendel, both holding right-wing views that are not "in Bibi's pocket." Zelicha promised to save every family 30,000 shekels a year, starting with the weaker strata, by canceling import quotas, dismantling exclusive importers, prohibiting local monopolies from taking over imports, and providing direct subsidies to farmers. He cited his previous battle in the Treasury against tycoons like the Ofer brothers, Fishman, and Dankner as proof of his ability to fulfill the promises.
