Worker seriously injured by glass during work in Yanuh-Jat in Galilee

A worker was seriously injured by glass while working at a supermarket under construction in Yanuh-Jat in the Western Galilee. He was evacuated to the Galilee Medical Center in Nahariya in serious condition, after paramedics from United Hatzalah and Magen David Adom provided initial treatment.

A worker was seriously injured today (Thursday) after being cut by glass while working at a supermarket under construction in the local council of Yanuh-Jat in the Western Galilee. United Hatzalah paramedic Taamer Bisan said he provided initial assistance to the worker with the help of additional medics, and his condition was defined as serious. He was then evacuated to the Galilee Medical Center in Nahariya. Magen David Adom paramedic Manuel Kanan added that the worker was conscious and suffered a severe injury to his upper limbs, and that life-saving medical treatment was provided before his evacuation to the hospital. The incident is reported by the news site Davar, and joins a series of work accidents in Israel.
