A worker who fell during his work into the hold of a ship at the southern port, to a depth of about 9 meters, was rescued by firefighters after complex rescue operations. The worker, whose condition is defined as moderate, was transferred for further medical treatment by MDA teams. Firefighters from the Ashdod station operated at the scene with assistance from special rescue units from Ashkelon and Rehovot stations. The rescue was carried out using specialized equipment under complex operational conditions. After completing the rescue operations, the worker was brought to the surface, where he was handed over to MDA teams.
