According to the suspicion, during a violent nighttime robbery that occurred in June, the defendant identified a woman about 50 years old, stopped her, hit her, and demanded her bag. After she resisted, he snatched the bag by force and fled with his friend who was waiting in a nearby alley. The victim called the police and described the suspect as a young man in a red shirt. The two spent thousands of shekels in cash and took a gold ring. About an hour after the incident, the suspect tried to use the stolen credit card at a bank branch in Rahat, which led to a breakthrough in the investigation. Chief Inspector Hamed Abu Asiba reported that an indictment was filed with a request for detention until the end of proceedings.
